NCCR RWA System Analyst / Consultant Specialist

As a Consultant Specialist at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in delivering design documents at L2/L3 level and assessing system changes impact due to business requirements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to standard risk/controls, driving compliance, managing security controls, and technology architecture designs. Collaborating closely with HOST teams and delivery PODs, you will support proactive delivery management, balancing scope and dependencies effectively. Working in coordination with the Technology team and Product Owner, you will drive productivity improvements through backlog management, utilizing Agile methodologies effectively. Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Clarity is essential for this role. Managing design deliverables for each release, resolving queries from FT and UAT, and liaising with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to guide product/service direction are significant aspects of this position. Communication with relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues related to project delivery and IT incidents is a key responsibility. Implementing a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team to foster a culture of continuous improvement is another critical aspect. Ensuring compliance with IT controls and standards is paramount for successful performance in this role. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good knowledge of Credit risk & Regulatory reporting, an understanding of RWA calculations on CRD-IV or B3.1 rules, and a technical background in SQL, Cloud, big data, and at least one programming language.
