Role Overview: At FarMart Pantry, we are seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual to lead the business in setting up and scaling operations across various sales channels. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to drive revenue growth, develop sales strategies, and build strong relationships to ensure the success of our brand. Key Responsibilities: - **P&L Ownership & Revenue Growth** - Drive revenue and profitability targets in the General trade sector while focusing on sustainable growth and efficient cost management. - Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet P&L objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue targets. - **Channel Strategy & Expansion** - Design and implement customized strategies for each sales channel to maximize reach and performance while maintaining brand consistency. - Identify new markets, geographies, and product categories for expansion in alignment with business goals and market demand. - **Team Leadership & Development** - Lead and nurture a high-performing sales team by setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and fostering a results-oriented culture. - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, promotions, and product launches. - **Relationship Management & Partnerships** - Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and partners across all channels to secure favorable terms and collaboration opportunities. - Collaborate with platform representatives, retail chains, and distribution networks to drive sales initiatives and enhance visibility. - **Sales Execution & Performance Optimization** - Oversee day-to-day sales operations, monitor performance metrics, and ensure efficient execution across all channels. - Implement best practices and processes to streamline operations, manage pricing and promotions, and increase market penetration. - **Market Insights & Competitive Analysis** - Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. - Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product assortment, identify gaps, and launch category-specific strategies. - **Budgeting & Financial Management** - Develop and manage the sales budget to allocate resources effectively and achieve business objectives while maintaining profitability. - Analyze financial performance, adjust strategies and allocations to meet short-term and long-term financial targets. - **Innovation & Continuous Improvement** - Identify and implement innovative strategies and tools to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and leveraging technology for process enhancements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (MBA preferred). - 5-10+ years of sales leadership experience in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods. - Proven track record of managing P&L and driving revenue growth in multiple channels. - Strong knowledge of General Trade strategies and operations. - Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
