NAND Engineer-Senior contract engineer

As a Senior Contract NAND Engineer at the leading IT company, your role will involve defining System Design, FW Architecture, and test flows for NAND Flash memory products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Understanding memory specifications and creating system design for memory products - Creating internal and external specifications in collaboration with system architects, external vendors, and cross-functional teams - Defining, implementing, and executing NAND tests and Bench Validation for NAND Flash-based products - Learning constantly, exploring new areas with emerging technologies, and embracing problem-solving ambiguity - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (ASIC, Firmware, Validation) to ensure seamless product development - Analyzing Product validation issues, debugging, and verifying fixes - Mentoring junior engineers and coordinating work across global time zones Qualifications required for this role include: - Understanding of ONFI protocol - Experience in system design of Flash memory, SSD, or any storage products - Proficiency in Embedded SOC architecture and NAND Flash device architecture and behavior - Experience with C/C++ for developing Embedded FW and scripting using Python - Software debugging in C, C++, Python with JTAG debuggers - Post-silicon validation and debugging experience - Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers - Proven ability to work effectively as part of a global team in multiple geographies - 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems architecture Preferred qualifications include: - Multi-disciplinary experience in Firmware, HW, and ASIC design - Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash (strong advantage) - Experience working with DDR and LPDDR protocols - Experience with FPGA and/or emulation (advantage) - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong can-do attitude If interested in this Senior Contract NAND Engineer position with a contract duration of 6 months (extendable) in Bangalore, with a budget of 70-80K/month, do share your resume, current and expected CTC, location, and notice period with tanushree.kumar@ekreya.com.,
