Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, the ability to teach a variety of musical disciplines, and a desire to inspire students in developing their musical abilities. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, conducting performances, and fostering an appreciation for music in students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver music lessons to students across different grade levels.
• Teach various music disciplines, including theory, vocal, instrumental (e.g., piano, guitar, drums), and music appreciation.
• Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations.
• Organize and direct school concerts, musical programs, and recitals.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff on interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Keep up with developments in music education and incorporate new teaching methods where appropriate.
• Maintain instruments and music room equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience as a music teacher or musician.
• Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and vocal techniques.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Creativity, patience, and a passion for teaching music.
• Knowledge of music software and digital tools is an advantage.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
