Role Overview

Piano Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured piano lessons tailored to each students learning style and goals.
• Prepare students for performances, recitals, and graded music examinations (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool).
• Maintain lesson records, track student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a positive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and BodhiTree events.
• Assist in creating learning materials and resources when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Music or equivalent formal training (Trinity/ABRSM/Rockschool certifications preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children and/or adults.
• Strong technical proficiency in piano playing, with knowledge of both classical and contemporary styles.
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability in teaching.
• Ability to integrate music theory and ear training into lessons.
