Job Title: Principal – BodhiTree Little Maestros (Music-Centric Preschool) Location: Magarpatta, Pune Start Date: August 2025 About Us: BodhiTree Little Maestros is India’s first music-centric preschool , where music is not just a subject — it's the heart of our learning philosophy. Inspired by global methodologies like Orff Schulwerk and Dalcroze Eurhythmics, we integrate music into every aspect of early childhood education to foster creativity, confidence, and cognitive development. We're opening our flagship center in Magarpatta, Pune , this September and are looking for a passionate and visionary Principal to lead our pioneering team. Role Overview: As the Principal, you will play a key leadership role in establishing the school's culture, academic standards, and operational excellence. You’ll lead a team of educators, collaborate with curriculum designers, and build strong relationships with parents — all while ensuring that music remains the pulse of learning . Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Vision Establish and maintain a nurturing, joyful, and music-rich learning environment. Drive the vision of a holistic, music-integrated curriculum in line with the BodhiTree philosophy. Academic & Curriculum Oversight Oversee daily classroom activities and ensure all subjects are delivered effectively through music-integrated approaches. Collaborate with the curriculum team to implement age-appropriate and engaging learning experiences. Team Management Recruit, train, and mentor preschool teachers and staff. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. Parent & Community Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for parents, ensuring transparent and supportive communication. Organize school events, parent orientations, and music showcases. Operations & Compliance Ensure the school meets all safety, legal, and regulatory standards. Manage admissions, attendance, and reporting systems. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education / Education Leadership or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or senior teaching role in a preschool or early years environment. A strong believer in alternative education methodologies and passionate about integrating the arts in learning. Familiarity with music-based pedagogy is a plus (though not mandatory). Our faculty includes highly trained musicians who bring both technical mastery and a passion for teaching. Role Overview We are seeking a talented and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, teaching experience, and the ability to inspire students from beginner to advanced levels. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and well-structured piano lessons tailored to each students learning style and goals. Prepare students for performances, recitals, and graded music examinations (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool). Maintain lesson records, track student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. Foster a positive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment. Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and BodhiTree events. Assist in creating learning materials and resources when required. Qualifications & Skills Diploma/Degree in Music or equivalent formal training (Trinity/ABRSM/Rockschool certifications preferred). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children and/or adults. Strong technical proficiency in piano playing, with knowledge of both classical and contemporary styles. Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability in teaching.
