The opportunity
EY GDS Creative Center of Excellence (CoE) is an inhouse agency that helps EY teams build a better working world by delivering high-impact, high-quality and onbrand creative solutions. People in the CoE help create experiences that are not just creatively inspiring, but also strategically precise and deeply human — across multiple media platforms.
As a Supervising Associate — Senior Multimedia Specialist, you ideate and deliver best-in-class creatives that intrinsically align with the EY brand and business objectives. You liaise with workflow coordinators, art director, and content teams to render creative concepts strategically and tactically into effective collaterals. You have an astute understanding of design principles and highly refined sense of aesthetics. So, you comfortably work within the brand specifications yet push the boundaries to deliver compelling and inspiring creative solutions to customers.
Your key responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce multimedia collaterals including motion graphic content for events, websites, e-learning modules, internal SharePoint sites, and for social media platforms
- Communicate effectively with customers while understanding design briefs and sharing ideas
- Provide unique, innovative, and effective design concepts to customers with a solution driven mindset
- Meet and exceed defined expectations in terms of aesthetics, quality, turnaround time and efficiency
- Adhere to EY brand standards and remain cognizant of visual as well as verbal guidelines
- Mentor junior team members on best practices around applying creativity in production environment
- Stay up-to-date with latest design trends, socialize and advocate the same to teams/customers
- Seamlessly manage multiple creative projects simultaneously
- Work with minimal supervision and guidance
Skills and attributes for success
- A user-centric mindset with creative, innovative and analytical approach
- Working knowledge of creating high-end visual animations, 3D animation, footage-based videos, explainer videos and animated content for different platforms.
- Excellent communication (comprehension, verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and persuade
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to engage constructively with team members, peers maintaining a positive attitude and openness to constructive feedback within a dynamic and fast-paced professional environment.
- Understanding of current and future visual trends
- Aptitude for art direction skills, with a keen eye for aesthetic excellence and the ability to guide visual storytelling to its most compelling form
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree/College diploma (preferably in Design, Multimedia and 3D animation and/or related discipline)*
- Proficiency in After Effects, 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Maya/3ds Max, Blender and Unity 3D game engine, Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with strong motion graphics animation capability
- Team management experience
- Strong visual design capability
- 10+ years of relevant experience
Technologies and Tools
- 3D software such as C4D, Maya/3ds Max, Blender and Unity 3D game engine, Adobe Animate, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with strong motion graphics animation capability
