MSBI Developer

We are seeking a proficient MSBI Developer with extensive experience in SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS to develop and support business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)both multidimensional (OLAP) and tabular models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy robust SSAS cubes (OLAP) and tabular models to support complex analytical needs. 
• Develop calculated measures, KPIs, and custom aggregations using MDX and DAX. 
• Optimize SSAS performance through effective design, partitioning strategies, aggregations, and indexing. 
• Design and implement ETL solutions using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the data warehouse. 
• Create and maintain interactive, pixel-perfect reports using SSRS based on SSAS models or relational sources. 
• Collaborate with business users to define data and reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve SSAS deployment and processing issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies. 
• Implement data security within SSAS models using roles and row-level security. 
• Document cube architecture, metadata definitions, and processes for technical and business users. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
• 4-8 years of experience in Microsoft BI Stack: SSIS, SSRS, and especially SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional). 
• Strong command of MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). 
• Expertise in dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and OLAP design. 
• Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. 
• Experience with cube deployment, processing, scheduling, and maintenance. 
• Microsoft certification in BI or Data Platform (e.g., MCSA/MCSE). 
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology. 
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
