Role Overview: As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst, you will play an important role in participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with the Technology team. You will report directly to the team lead and be based in India. Key Responsibilities: - Develop projects from detailed business requirements - Work through solutions and manage execution and rollout within a global platform - Create T SQL queries/stored Procedures/Functions/Triggers using SQL Server 2014 and 2017 - Understand basic data warehousing concepts and design/develop SSIS packages - Develop Dashboards and Reports using SSRS - Work on BAU JIRAs and provide detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows - Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on issues, recommend programming solutions - Install and support customer exposure systems - Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues - Conduct testing and debugging with limited direct supervision Qualifications: - 4-8 years of overall IT experience with 2+ years in Financial Services industry - Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Autosys - 2+ years experience in any ETL tool, preferably SSIS - Knowledge of Python is a plus - Highly motivated, ability to multitask and work under pressure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good to have: Talend, Github Knowledge - Strong knowledge of database fundamentals and advanced concepts, ability to write efficient SQL - Experience with a reporting tool (e.g., SSRS, QlikView) is advantageous - Experience with a job scheduling tool (e.g., Autosys) - Experience in Finance Industry is desired - Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience (Note: This job description provides an overview of the typical responsibilities.
