Job Description

Position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records in physical and digital formats.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all medical documents.
  • File, retrieve, and issue patient records as per hospital policy.
  • Assist in coding, indexing, and record classification using ICD systems.
  • Support the medical audit and record verification process.
  • Prepare daily and monthly record reports for management.
  • Handle discharge summaries and record archiving systematically.
  • Cooperate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams for data access and verification.

Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of hospital record-keeping procedures.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and hospital management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualification:

  • Diploma / Degree in Medical Record Technology or Hospital Administration.
  • Basic computer literacy required.
