As a Due Diligence - US Residential Mortgage Underwriter at QRight Solutions, your role involves analyzing and verifying loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy of all required documents such as 1003, 1008, and credit reports. You will assess the borrower's credit history, employment details, income, and debt levels. Additionally, you will confirm the property's value through appraisal reports. Key Responsibilities: - Review loan applications and documents like 1003, 1008, and credit reports for accuracy. - Evaluate borrower's credit history, employment, income, and debt levels. - Confirm property values through appraisal reports. - Evaluate credit reports to determine creditworthiness of borrowers. - Calculate debt-to-income (DTI) ratios and loan-to-value (LTV) ratios. - Review appraisals and alternative value products for conformity and assess property valuation accuracy. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. - Adhere to company policies and guidelines. - Identify potential risks and assess overall risk level of the loan. Qualification Required: - Any degree with 1 - 7 years of Underwriting experience. In this role, you will be working full-time in a day shift at the Chennai office.
