Mopar Service Engineer - Interior/Exterior Trim and Glass

As a Mopar Service & Parts development engineer, you will be responsible for Exterior/Interior service parts engineering. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having knowledge about Glass and windshield components - Demonstrating good knowledge of APQP process and ensuring timely product launches by working closely with the team - Preparing Feasibility Review, Technical review, & process documents for review - Understanding plastic polymers, coatings, and plating process and materials for trim and badges - Releasing Source Packages based on the Product requirement - Developing DVP requirements for the service parts - Planning, coordinating, and executing technical reviews with potential suppliers for new products - Supporting suppliers on vehicle and product design for approval - Tracking project status and providing timely updates to management - Developing tool, die, Fixtures with suppliers and kick off - Coordinating across cross-functional teams/suppliers for smooth workflow - Initiating Engineering changes and ensuring their implementation while recording them in the tracker - Documenting all projects relevant Engineering approvals and documents - Gathering historical data on regulatory documents and summarizing Lessons Learned for corrective actions - Creating Best Practices to establish a robust process and ensure product quality Qualifications: - Bachelors in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering Essential Skills: - Experience in product development and manufacturing processes - Design and Functional Integration analysis - Intermediate Skill set in NX - Good Knowledge of GD&T concepts & Change Management - Vehicle Exteriors and Interiors knowledge - Component level & system level Testing knowledge Desired Skills: - Experience in Exterior & Interior parts development and plastic polymers Experience: - 3 to 6 years experience in Product development for the automobile industry,
