You will be joining our team as a Moodle Specialist, where your primary role will involve developing and maintaining our learning management system (LMS) based on the Moodle platform. Your deep understanding of Moodle architecture, development, and administration will be crucial, along with your experience in customizing the platform to align with specific business requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing custom themes, developing and integrating custom plugins, and managing the overall Moodle environment. You will provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to enhance features and integrations. Additionally, you will establish best practices for Moodle development, focusing on security, performance, and scalability. Offering training and support to LMS users, such as faculty, students, and administrators, will also be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in developing and administering Moodle-based applications. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, along with familiarity with Moodle APIs and plugin development frameworks. Your expertise in Moodle theming and customization, combined with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, will be highly valued. Being self-motivated, able to work independently, and staying updated on the latest Moodle developments to suggest enhancements for the LMS will contribute to your success in this position.,
