Moodle Specialist

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) by designing custom themes, integrating plugins, and managing the Moodle environment. Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement custom features and integrations will be part of your role. Your duties will also include establishing best practices for Moodle development, ensuring security, performance, and scalability, as well as conducting training sessions for faculty, students, and administrators. You will need to stay updated on the latest Moodle advancements and suggest improvements for enhancing the LMS. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and have over 3 years of experience in developing and administering Moodle-based applications. Proficiency in Moodle architecture, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Moodle APIs and plugin development frameworks are essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are also necessary.
