Job Description

Position: MongoDB Database Administrator

Location:

Bangalore

Experience Required:

6 to 9 years

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in MongoDB Core DBA role.
Relevant experience with MongoDB database.
Clear understanding of MongoDB concepts and architecture.
Hands-on experience in MongoDB database technology troubleshooting in high-pressure production environments.
Involvement in MongoDB cluster production environments, including adding and removing cluster nodes, cluster capacity planning, installation, upgrading, performance tuning, cluster monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Installed and configured multi-node fully distributed MongoDB clusters.
Decommissioning and commissioning nodes on running/existing clusters.
Understanding of MongoDB cluster management using Ops Manager and command line tools.
Knowledge of MongoDB replication, backup, and recovery.
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Experience working with Unix and Linux servers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize and plan work independently.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
