Molding Technician II

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing routine to semi-routine experiments for process or R&D engineering under general supervision. Your main tasks will include recording and reporting results, reviewing rejected production runs, setting up equipment, and auditing the work of line operators for accuracy. You will also assist in monitoring the assembly/molding process by troubleshooting problem processes and identifying quality issues. Key Responsibilities: - Operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation - Following production/process specifications or instructions provided by higher-level technical personnel - Conducting mold set ups and line clearance - Monitoring various controls and guidelines such as meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures to ensure adherence to production/process specifications - Performing tests to verify production/process conditions and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities - Making minor adjustments and repairs to equipment as needed - Maintaining operating records, documenting test results, and generating reports - Isolating problems for further analysis and collecting data for documentation - Evaluating new processes, components, products, and systems in conformance with engineering specifications - Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures - Advising operators and informing engineers about processes, procedures, and equipment - Applying and supporting lean manufacturing principles - Supporting all company safety and quality programs and initiatives - Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Required: - Ability to read and write in English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedures manuals, and blueprints - Proficiency in performing basic math and interpreting work instructions from executives,
