Role Overview

Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  UI and API automation frameworks

  using

  Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured

  , or similar tools.
• Develop automated test suites integrating with CI/CD pipelines for seamless release validation.
• Write and maintain

  clean, efficient automation scripts

  using

  JavaScript or Python

  .
• Apply advanced

  test design methodologies

  , ensuring maximum coverage and optimized test execution.
• Conduct

  root-cause analysis

  and collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams to resolve defects efficiently.
• Perform

  data testing and validation

  activities, including:
  • Applying

    data normalization techniques

    .
  • Validating

    data contracts and schema consistency

    .
  • Executing

    SQL queries

    (intermediate to advanced) for backend data validation.
• Implement

  Prompt Engineering

  strategies for AI-augmented automation.
• Leverage

  GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor

  to optimize code authoring and test automation workflows.
• Implement and utilize

  MCP (Model Context Protocol)

  to enhance test context awareness and LLM integrations.
• Optionally experiment with

  OpenAI APIs

  and

  LLM configuration

  to improve automated testing capabilities.
• Support R&D initiatives for

  AI Agent-based test orchestration and validation frameworks

  .

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience

  in

  UI and API automation testing

  using modern frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured).
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript or Python

  for automation scripting.
• Proven experience in:
  • Test design methodologies and data-driven testing.
  • Data validation, normalization, and SQL-based verification.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Mandatory:

  • Prompt Engineering
  • Codex / GitHub Copilot / Cursor
  • MCP Implementation & Usage

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating

  OpenAI APIs

  or configuring

  LLMs

  for automated testing and analysis.
• Understanding of

  LLM fundamentals

  (prompt tuning, model behavior, embeddings).
• Exposure to

  AI Agent development and orchestration

  for automation pipelines.
