Project Role : Modernization Engineer Project Role Description : Build and test agile and cost effective hosting solutions. Implement scalable, high performance hosting solutions that meet the need of todays corporate and digital applications using both private and public cloud technologies. Develop and deliver legacy infrastructure transformation and migration to drive next-generation business outcomes. Must have Skills :Mainframe Modernization, SSI:NON SSI:Good to Have Skills :SSI:No Technology Specialization NON SSI :Job Requirements :Key Responsibilities :1 Lead development teams and architectural discussions2 Drive design and development of Mainframe Modernization solutions using Cloud Ecosystems3 Provide recommendations on new assets4 Liaison with SMAs , SMEs5 Manage relevant stakeholders6 Stay educated on new and emerging technologies and market offerings Technical Experience :1 Proven expertise designing and implementing highly complex and various Mainframe Modernization solutions 2 10 to 12 years of expertise in designing end to end Mainframe Modernization Architecture for any large scale system3 Experience with any of code conversion tools like BluAge, Rain Code, TSRI, TMaxSoft, Cloud Frame etc4 Ability to design and implement common Mainframe and hybrid-cloud use cases 5 Experience with data strategies like VSAM to Relational, IMS to Db2, database replication, Professional Attributes :1 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills2 Strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen3 Strong problem-solving skills, risk mitigation and crisis management4 Ability to multitask and prioritize5 Prior experience in innovation and leading development of new assets Educational Qualification:1 Graduate, BE or Btech2 Foundation level certification in at least 1 MAG or IBM Cloud PlatformAdditional Info :Experience on ADDI, Microfocus, Blue Age, Rain code, Mainframe, Midrange and Modernization framework Qualifications 1 Graduate, BE or Btech2 Foundation level certification in at least 1 MAG or IBM Cloud Platform
