Modem Hardware Modeling, Senior Engineer

As part of Qualcomm India Private Limited's Engineering Group, specifically in the Hardware Engineering team, you will play a key role in the development of Wireless Modem HW models for Qualcomms flagship chipsets in modem WWAN IPs. Your responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the development of flagship modem core IP for 5G (NR) & 4G (LTE) technologies. - Collaborating with a team to define and develop next generation multi-mode 5G modems. - Working on the development and verification of HW models of modem core IP using C++/SystemC platform for RTL verification and pre Silicon FW development. - Demonstrating proficiency in C++, SystemC, System Verilog, and/or Matlab. - Understanding HW micro-architecture & modeling abstraction. - Having working knowledge of wireless technologies such as NR, LTE, WLAN, and Bluetooth. - Expertise in digital signal processing and experience in HW modeling, RTL design/verification of IP. - Candidates with a background in SW/FW related to wireless IP are also encouraged to apply. - Strong technical knowhow on non-wireless DSP based HW IPs with Design/Verification/Modeling skills will also be considered. Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science from a reputed college/university. Additionally, you should have 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience with a Bachelor's degree, 1+ year of experience with a Master's degree, or a PhD in a related field.
