Modeling Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Lattice, a dynamic and energetic community of engineers, designers, and specialists working together to develop cutting-edge programmable logic solutions. Your role as a Modeling Design Engineer will involve creating and validating models for Lattice FPGAs, ensuring their accuracy and performance. Collaboration with design and development teams will be essential to guarantee the reliability of the models. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and validate models for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. - Utilize simulation tools such as Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, or similar for digital circuit analysis. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of circuit modeling engineers. - Collaborate with design engineers to understand circuit requirements and specifications. - Ensure the needs of internal customers/consumers of the models are met. - Analyze simulation results and provide feedback for model improvement. - Optimize circuit models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency. - Document modeling processes, assumptions, and results for stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in circuit modeling techniques and tools. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience. - Proven expertise in circuit modeling and simulation. - Proficiency in using circuit simulation tools like SPICE, Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, or similar. - Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design principles. - Skill in modeling with SystemVerilog and higher-level modeling with SystemC. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Experience with data analysis and visualization tools would be advantageous.,
