Mobile Architect

You will be responsible for implementing a new eCommerce web/app experience and serving as a subject matter expert for all front-end user experience discussions across the company. Your role will involve leading, coding, building, and testing sophisticated digital experiences using CSS/Sass, HTML, JavaScript, and React/Native. You will be expected to solve challenging front-end engineering problems, ensure graceful, accessible, semantically correct, and responsive front ends that function across all major browsers and devices, and guide the implementation of best practices for application design and development. Additionally, you must have a strong XP/SCRUM/Agile work ethic, contribute productively to a fast-paced development team, deliver demonstrable code in two-week increments, unit test your code thoroughly, and foster a healthy and collaborative work environment with a "Get it Done" attitude. Moreover, you should possess the ability to negotiate timelines and architecture with functional teams and mentor junior team members. Qualifications required for this role include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Front End Developer, extensive experience with CSS/Sass/JavaScript, proficiency in developing with React, React Native, NPM/Node.js, HTML5, CSS/Sass, and JavaScript, an understanding of microservices patterns and practices, unit testing experience with tools like Jest, Karma, and/or Jasmine, familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Babel, proficiency in using SCM tools such as Git, and UI/UX design experience.,
