Sr. Front-End Developer

As a Front End Developer at our company, you will be responsible for implementing a new eCommerce web/app experience. You will serve as a subject matter expert for all front-end user experience and represent the team in front-end discussions across the company. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading, coding, building, and testing sophisticated digital experiences using CSS/Sass, HTML, JavaScript, and React/Native. - Solving difficult front-end engineering challenges and troubleshooting defects. - Implementing graceful, accessible, semantically correct, responsive front end that functions properly across all major browsers and devices. - Guiding the implementation of best practices for application design/development. - Contributing productively to a fast-paced development team with a strong XP/SCRUM/Agile work ethic, delivering demonstrable code in two-week increments. - Comprehensively unit testing your code. - Contributing to a healthy and collaborative development team with a "Get it Done" work ethic. - Negotiating timelines and architecture across functional teams. - Mentoring junior team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer. - 5+ years experience with CSS/Sass/JavaScript. - Experience developing with React, React Native, NPM/Node.js, HTML5, CSS/Sass, JavaScript. - Understanding of microservices general patterns and practices. - Unit testing experience with tools like Jest, Karma, and/or Jasmine. - Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel. - Experience using SCM tools such as Git. - UI/UX design experience.
