Mobile App Team Lead (Android & iOS)

As an experienced and results-driven Mobile App Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our mobile development team, managing app lifecycle processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications. Your strong expertise in Android and iOS development, App Store Optimization (ASO), and team leadership will be crucial in handling both technical and managerial responsibilities effectively. Your key responsibilities will include leading the development of mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, managing and maintaining existing apps to ensure performance, compatibility, and security, as well as overseeing the deployment of new applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Additionally, you will optimize app listings for both Play Store and App Store, write engaging app descriptions, titles, and package names, and manage app metadata, keywords, and screenshots based on market trends for improved visibility and downloads. Staying updated on ASO strategies and competitor analysis will be essential for enhancing marketing performance. In terms of team and project management, you will lead and guide the mobile app development team to follow structured workflows, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project delivery before deadlines. Mentoring team members on best coding practices, facilitating effective client communication, and handling client requirements efficiently will be part of your responsibilities. You should also demonstrate proficiency in using GitHub and Bitbucket for code management, be familiar with project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, and understand backend structures and integration with mobile applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and backend developers, will be crucial for project success. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4+ years of proven experience in Android and iOS application development, strong knowledge of app deployment processes for both platforms, expertise in ASO techniques and app marketing strategies, as well as strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, hands-on experience with version control and project management tools, and good understanding of mobile app architecture and backend integration will be valuable assets.
