Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Translate business goals for Machine Learning to technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and convert them into ML requirements and hypothesis.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on ML related tasks.
Own and drive specific area(s) of functionality like machine learning implementation for digital commerce including prioritized enhancement stories and development of features for those areas of responsibility.
Develop PoCs to validate the feasibility of machine learning implementation
Break down complex technical requirements into Epics and Stories for the teams.
Explain complex technical concepts of ML to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure security best practices are integrated into the architecture and design of solutions.
Implement and enforce coding quality, standards, best practices and guidelines through code reviews
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development.

Preferred candidate profile

Demonstrated experience designing and architecting new technology and platform solutions within the Machine Learning ecosystem
Proficient in utilizing Python and well-known machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn to develop models.
Ability to understand complex application data flows and bridge the gap between technical and business app requirement.
Skilled in optimizing model performance through effective data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering techniques.
Experienced in deploying machine learning models for real-time applications in production environments.
Conducted thorough evaluations, selections, and fine-tuning of models to attain high accuracy and efficiency.
Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills, ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with key business partners, including senior executives
Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills including the ability to bring together various teams and resources to deliver results
Minimum 10 years of software development experience with 5+ years of experience in machine learning implementations leading multiple Machine Learning projects.
Data driven approach to problem solving.
Understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
Experience with data preparation, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
