ML Engineer

As an ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing various Machine Learning models that contribute to the growth of the company. Your primary focus will be on creating ML workflows tailored for the legal industry to enhance the efficiencies of in-house teams at Draft n Craft. This position offers you the opportunity to enhance your ML/Data Engineering skills while actively participating in the creation of valuable products. Your responsibilities will include developing data ingestion and preprocessing pipelines to extract actionable insights from legal data, ensuring accurate and consistent data cleaning for ML models, and experimenting with different ML models and architectures suitable for the legal industry. You will also be responsible for deploying ML models in production environments, analyzing model performance metrics, and improving model efficiencies. Additionally, you will document data preprocessing steps, model development processes, and optimization techniques. Collaboration with software engineers within the company will be essential, requiring an understanding of software development terminologies. Integration of ML models into existing software solutions and employee workflows will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Data Science, or related fields. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist is required, along with strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Pandas. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL for database querying, working with data extraction and ETL pipelines, and experience in NLP, Neural Networks, and Gen AI technologies are essential. Familiarity with transfer learning on LLM models and deploying ML models to cloud services like AWS/Azure is preferred. Some experience in software development will be advantageous.
