D. Job Title: MIS & Payables Executive

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience Required: 2 Years

Department: Finance Reporting To: Manager - Finance

E. Job Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS & Payables Executive who can manage daily reporting, data tracking, email coordination, and vendor-related follow-ups. This role does not require in-depth finance or accounting knowledge; however, basic understanding of payables will be an advantage. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and excellent at maintaining accurate reports and communication.

F. Key Responsibilities :

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

- Maintain Excel trackers and update internal sheets regularly.

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of reports.

- Identify delays, discrepancies, or pending items and highlight them.

- Coordinate with internal teams to collect data required for reports.

Payables Support

- Maintain vendor payment trackers and follow-up lists.

- Coordinate with vendors for invoice status, documentation, and updates. - Share payment status with vendors through email as directed.

- Assist with basic verification of bills (amount, supporting documents, PO reference etc.).

- Escalate issues to the Manager when required.

Email & Coordination

- Draft professional emails and respond to queries promptly.

- Coordinate between internal departments (Finance, Ops, Projects, etc.).

- Follow-up on pending information and ensure timely closure. - Maintain email logs and communication records.

Educational Qualifications & Knowledge Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or related field (B.Com / BBA / BBM preferred)

-Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, including:

-Vendor invoice validation

Basic 3-way matching (PO – GRN – Invoice)

TDS understanding (basic level)

Payment cycle management

Vendor ledger reconciliation

-Solid understanding of Finance MIS and Reporting, including:

-Daily/weekly/monthly MIS dashboards

-Aging analysis (vendors, advances)

-Expense tracking and variance identification

-Follow-up reporting and delay tracking

-Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Filters, Basic formulas) and Google Sheets

-Good understanding of documentation management, internal coordination, and data accuracy

-Knowledge of ERP systems or accounting tools (Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.) will be an advantage.
