Job Description

York Recruitment is looking for MILLWRIGHT FITTERS to join our team
Roles and Responsibility

Fit and maintain mechanical equipment, including machinery and apparatus.
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems and provide solutions.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex problems.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failure.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including mechanics and thermodynamics.
Experience with tools such as pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
A graduate degree is required for this position.
