1. Cleaning and Maintenance Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas. Make beds and change linens as per hotel standards. Replenish guest amenities (e.g., towels, toiletries, water bottles). Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture. Sanitize high-touch areas like door handles, switches, and telephones. Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor. 2. Guest Service Greet guests courteously when encountered in hallways or rooms. Respond promptly to guest requests, such as extra towels or pillows. Handle lost and found items as per hotel policy. Respect guest privacy and follow “Do Not Disturb” signs appropriately. 3. Room Checks and Reporting Check rooms for items left behind by guests. Inspect room setup and cleanliness before reporting it as ready. Record cleaning activities and submit checklists to the supervisor. Inform the front desk or supervisor once a room is ready for check-in. 4. Stocking and Inventory Ensure housekeeping trolleys are fully stocked with supplies. Restock linen closets and housekeeping carts at the end of the shift. Report inventory shortages or low supplies to the housekeeping supervisor. 5. Compliance and Safety Follow hotel procedures and safety protocols (e.g., for handling chemicals). Adhere to health, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Wear proper uniform and maintain personal grooming. 6. Team Collaboration Cooperate with other housekeeping staff and departments (e.g., front office). Attend daily briefings and training sessions. Support deep cleaning tasks or special projects as required.
