Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient well-being. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life. Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and ensure proper documentation of patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas. Respond promptly to patient calls for assistance and communicate effectively with healthcare team members. Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a Patient Care Technician training program is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
