Mid-level Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using

  Java (Java 11/17)

  and frameworks like

  Spring Boot

  .
• Design and implement

  RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

  .
• Work with

  databases (SQL & NoSQL)

  such as

  PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

  .
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability using best practices and design patterns.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement

  unit testing

  and participate in code reviews.
• Work with

  Docker and Kubernetes

  for containerized deployments (good to have).
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and DevOps teams.
• Follow

  Agile methodologies

  and contribute to continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

What You Know:

• Strong knowledge of

  Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data

  .
• Experience with

  RESTful APIs, JSON, and API Gateway

  .
• Proficiency in

  database design and SQL queries

  (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with

  NoSQL databases

  (MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with

  Docker, Kubernetes

  , and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with

  messaging systems

  like Kafka (preferred), RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Understanding of

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in

  Git

  and version control workflows.
• Good understanding of

  multi-threading and asynchronous processing

  .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  GraphQL

  .
• Familiarity with

  Reactive Programming (WebFlux)

  .
• Exposure to

  Event-Driven Architecture

  .

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
