MicroStrategy Consultant

As an experienced MicroStrategy (MSTR) Consultant with 8+ years of expertise, your role will involve supporting offshore operations by utilizing your deep knowledge of metadata, data modeling, dashboard development, and performance optimization. Your troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with business users to address technical queries will be crucial in this role. - Develop, configure, and maintain MicroStrategy solutions based on business needs. - Understand and manage metadata efficiently to configure data models effectively. - Work with star schemas, slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), and hierarchical models to optimize reporting. - Design interactive dashboards tailored to diverse business requirements. - Configure VLDB settings to enhance report performance. - Establish parent-child relationships between attributes and configure level metrics. - Develop and manage Documents and Dossiers for data visualization and reporting. - Monitor and troubleshoot MSTR infrastructure issues, such as certificate renewals, Catalina logs, and service restarts. - Collaborate with business teams to comprehend reporting needs and offer technical guidance. - Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize reports for faster execution. - Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous for potential integrations. Qualifications: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development and administration. - Strong expertise in data modeling, including hierarchical modeling and SCD types. - Proven track record of building scalable dashboards and reports. - Experience with MicroStrategy VLDB settings and performance tuning. - Familiarity with MicroStrategy infrastructure troubleshooting and best practices. - Previous exposure to the retail industry is beneficial. - Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.,
