Migration Strategy and Execution Leadership

• Tenant-to-Tenant Migration (T2T): Lead the strategy, design, and execution of complex M365 T2T migrations for all core services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.

• Microsoft Teams Migration: Design and execute high-fidelity Teams migrations, including channels, files, tabs, membership, and conversation history, with a focus on minimizing user impact and preserving metadata.

• Specialized Tool Expertise: Lead migration projects utilizing commercial tools, demonstrating advanced knowledge of platforms such as BitTitan MigrationWiz, AvePoint Fly, and Quest Migration Manager for M365 (or similar leading tools) to ensure data integrity and project efficiency.

• On-Premises to M365 Migration: Architect, plan, and execute full-scale migrations of on-premises workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory) to the target Microsoft 365 tenant.

Advanced Endpoint and Device Management

• Identity and Workstation Migration: Manage the migration of identities and devices, specifically focusing on Azure AD hybrid join and Azure AD joined workstations from a source to a target tenant, ensuring seamless user profile and access transition.

• Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager): Design, deploy, and manage advanced Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies, compliance policies, and configuration profiles across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Intune T2T Migration: Develop and implement strategies to migrate enrolled devices and their associated policies and configurations from a source Intune instance to a target Intune instance.

• Apple Device Management: Leverage Apple Business Manager (ABM) in conjunction with Intune for zero-touch deployment and ongoing management of corporate-owned Apple devices.

• Conditional Access: Implement and optimize Conditional Access policies to ensure a Zero Trust security posture based on user identity, device compliance, and location.

Administration, Security, and Automation

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all M365 services, particularly identity (Entra ID), security, and endpoint management.

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, migration runbooks, and disaster recovery plans.

• Utilize PowerShell and other automation tools to streamline migration, reporting, and administration tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in Microsoft 365 engineering and complex migrations.

• Expert-level, verifiable experience executing T2T migrations across multiple M365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).

• Mandatory hands-on experience with one or more leading third-party migration tools: BitTitan MigrationWiz, AvePoint Fly, Quest Migration Manager for M365, or equivalent high-end migration suites.

• Deep proficiency in Microsoft Teams administration and migration, including managing Teams settings, governance, lifecycle, and mitigating common migration challenges (e.g., chat history, private channels).

• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, including MDM, MAM, AutoPilot, and device compliance/configuration.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including hybrid identity, federation, sync technologies, and workstation join states.

• Strong practical experience integrating and managing devices using Apple Business Manager (ABM).

• Relevant Microsoft Certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102), Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)).
