The position at The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa is responsible for proactively seeking and managing sales opportunities. You will ensure that business is transferred efficiently and in a timely manner for effective service delivery. Your role will involve leading day-to-day sales activities, focusing on nurturing long-term, value-based customer relationships to meet sales objectives and achieve personal sales targets. Education And Experience - Possess a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field from an accredited university along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. OR - Hold a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Core Work Activities Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities - Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts. - Strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through various activities such as sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows. - Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for potential sales opportunities. - Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders effectively. - Provide accurate turnover to Event Management for seamless service delivery. Managing Sales Activities - Participate in sales calls with the sales team to secure new business or finalize existing deals. - Support operational aspects of booked business, including proposal generation, contract writing, and customer correspondence. Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue - Identify new business opportunities to meet personal and location revenue targets. - Understand market trends, competitor analysis, economic factors, and customer expectations to capitalize on sales opportunities. - Close the most suitable opportunities based on market conditions and location requirements. - Serve customers by addressing their business needs, issues, and concerns with appropriate solutions. Providing Exceptional Customer Service - Uphold the company's service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty and deliver service excellence. - Grow account share by servicing customers effectively. - Maintain high customer service standards and interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.
