Role & responsibilities Perform and oversee Heat Treatment processes (Hardening, Tempering, Carburizing, etc.) in the lab. - Conduct metallurgical testing (microstructure analysis, hardness testing, tensile testing, etc.) to ensure compliance with industry standards. - Analyze heat treatment defects and recommend corrective actions. - Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Prepare technical reports and documentation for heat treatment processes. - Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, IATF, CQi-9, etc.). - Collaborate with production and Quality teams to optimize Heat Treatment parameters. - Train junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Diploma / Bachelors degree in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering or related field. - 3-6 years of experience in a Heat Treatment lab or Metallurgical Testing Environment. - Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes, Metallography, and material properties. - Proficiency in using microscopes, hardness testers, and other metallurgical equipment. - Good understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949). - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
