Metallurgist

You will be responsible for designing and controlling processes to separate metals from ore, monitoring and testing for corrosion, developing ways to enhance metals, testing metals for quality and safety, designing metal components and prototypes, assessing the physical structure and behavior of metals, and installing processing equipment. Additionally, you will research and develop new technologies and products, monitor manufacturing quality standards, ensure health and safety compliance, investigate metallurgical failures, and prepare various documents and reports. The ideal candidate will possess D.M.E. or B.E. degrees, a strong understanding of QS systems and procedures, a minimum of 3 years of experience in metallurgy, and knowledge of aftermarket requirements. Salary for this position ranges from 25,000 to 35,000, depending on skills and experience.,
