MERN/MEAN Stack Cloud Engineer

About the Role

MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical expert who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can architect robust cloud-native solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Stack Development

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using MERN or MEAN stack.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement responsive and dynamic front-end designs.

2. Cloud Engineering

• Design and deploy cloud-native applications on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Utilize containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.

3. Backend Integration

• Develop and optimize backend services in Python and/or Java.
• Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Implement asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture as needed.

4. Database Management

• Architect and optimize databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Ensure data security and efficient storage solutions.

5. Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Document technical designs, architecture, and processes.

6. Performance & Security

• Perform rigorous testing and debugging for high-performance applications.
• Implement best practices for security in code and cloud architecture.

Qualifications and Skills

Must-Have

• Experience in full-stack web development with expertise in MERN or MEAN stack.
• Strong proficiency in

  Node.js

  and either

  React

  or

  Angular

  .
• Extensive experience with

  Python

  and/or

  Java

  for backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Solid understanding of database design and management (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions).
• Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSocket-based communication.
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or libraries.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or related technologies (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Developer, etc.).
