MERN Stack Developer

Responsibilities
Front-End DevelopmentBuild dynamic, responsive, and reusable UI components with React.js.Integrate APIs and ensure pixel-perfect translation of designs into functional interfaces.Optimize performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.Back-End DevelopmentDesign and implement scalable server-side logic with Node.js & Express.js.Develop and manage RESTful APIs / GraphQL endpoints for internal and third-party integrations.Architect, query, and optimize MongoDB databases (SQL knowledge is a plus).Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.Work with WebSockets for real-time features.System Design & CollaborationContribute to the architecture of new features and systems.Work with product managers, designers, and other developers to define technical requirements.Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure maintainability and scalability.DevOps & Advanced PracticesDeploy and monitor applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Maintain documentation for code, APIs, and systems.Stay ahead of emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve workflows.?RequirementsProven experience (24 years) in the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.Solid understanding of state management (Redux, Context API).Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL knowledge is a plus).Strong grasp of database modeling, indexing, and query optimization (MongoDB required, SQL optional).Knowledge of web security principles (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2).WebSockets experience for real-time communication.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Docker.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects.Strong collaboration and communication abilities.?Nice-to-HaveExperience with microservices architecture or serverless frameworks.Exposure to Kafka for event-driven architecture.Knowledge of additional front-end frameworks (Vue.js, Next.js, Angular).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Trello).Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
