Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) along with MySQL for relational data requirements Design dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React.js with functional components and hooks Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js Work with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (RDBMS) for data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, project managers, and fellow developers Ensure web applications are optimized for maximum performance, speed, and scalability Maintain and manage version control using Git, and collaborate on codebases via GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards Requirements: 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development using the MERN stack and MySQL Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 Strong working knowledge of React.js, including component lifecycle, hooks, and routing Solid understanding of backend development using Node.js and Express.js Practical experience with MongoDB and Mongoose ORM for handling NoSQL data Proven experience with MySQL and Sequelize ORM (or similar) for relational database operations including joins, indexing, and stored procedures Comfortable developing and integrating RESTful APIs Familiarity with asynchronous programming (callbacks, promises, async/await) Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design best practices Proficient with Git, including branching strategies and collaborative workflows Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Nice to Have: Experience with Redux or other state management libraries Familiarity with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js or tools like TypeScript Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools Awareness of database performance tuning and optimization (both MongoDB and MySQL) Understanding of security best practices in web application development
