Merger & Acquisition Analyst

Job Title: Merger & Acquisition Analyst (M&A Analyst)

Work Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Key Tasks

· Track daily M&A deal announcements and updates in the oil and gas industry via RSS feeds and PDF scanning

· Update the M&A database with additional data from company press releases, presentations and periodic financial and operating reports

· Analyze and interpret deal announcements to add more depth and commentary to a range of financial and operating data items

· Undertake research of company financial statements and presentations to add additional insight to deal announcements

· Calculate a fair market value of oil and gas assets

· Liaise with the analyst team in London to continually develop the M&A product by reacting to client requests and proactively

implementing data and process improvements

· Strong English skills

· Proficient in Excel

· Knowledge of company financial statements

· Knowledge of company valuation techniques

· Organized and self-motivated, able to manage priorities

· Ability to research and extract relevant information from a vast array of sources

· Working timing will be from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm
