Merchandiser cum marketing

As a Merchandising Manager, your role involves planning and developing merchandising strategies that effectively balance customers" expectations with the company's objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and strategize product ranges and stock. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts will be a key part of your role to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales. Your key responsibilities will include maximizing customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately, producing layout plans for stores, and ensuring the maintenance of store shelves and inventory. Additionally, you will be expected to forecast profits and sales, as well as plan budgets to ensure the success of merchandising strategies. Monitoring stock movement and making informed decisions regarding markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear-outs will also be part of your daily tasks.
