Job Title: MER Executive (Medical Documentation – Non-Clinical)

About the Role

We are hiring nursing graduates to join our in-house Medical Examination Report (MER) team. In this non-clinical role, you will conduct telephonic health assessments with insurance applicants and accurately record their medical history using a structured questionnaire.

This is ideal for nurses who are detail-oriented, comfortable in a structured communication format, and interested in healthcare-administration roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured phone interviews to collect:
• Past medical history
• Current health conditions
• Lifestyle and habits (e.g., smoking, alcohol)
• Basic vitals (height, weight, BP—if available)
• Accurately fill Medical Examination Reports (MERs) based on applicant responses
• Flag unclear or serious medical inputs to the Lead Doctor for review
• Ensure patient confidentiality and follow communication protocols
• Work with the Lead and QA team for quality checks and feedback

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) OR
• B.Sc Nursing
• Valid registration with State Nursing Council required

Experience:

• Freshers welcome – no prior experience required
• Training will be provided on insurance documentation and telephonic interviews

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication in English and regional languages
• Basic understanding of common health conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
• Ability to follow structured scripts and use basic software (CRM tools)
• Detail-oriented with strong listening skills
• Professional, ethical, and empathetic

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 (based on experience & interview)
