Job Description

Role Overview: You have an exciting opportunity to join a company with a strong engineering background that specializes in providing MEP solutions for Grade-A commercial and residential projects. As an MEP Engineer, your role will involve designing, coordinating, and implementing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for high-profile projects with international standards. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure top-quality engineering delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and coordinate MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) for Grade-A commercial and residential buildings. - Prepare detailed layouts and construction drawings using AutoCAD. - Perform load calculations for HVAC, Electrical, Water supply, and Drainage systems. - Select and size equipment like chillers, pumps, transformers, and panels based on project requirements. - Conduct clash detection in BIM models to resolve conflicts and ensure seamless integration of services. - Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers for coordinated building designs. - Ensure designs comply with local building codes, international standards, and relevant guidelines. - Generate MEP design documentation including drawings, schematics, BOQs, and technical reports. - Coordinate with site execution teams to provide engineering support during construction. - Interact with clients to understand requirements, present solutions, and incorporate feedback. - Review and update models throughout the project lifecycle to maintain accuracy and design intent. - Support tendering activities, technical bid evaluation, and vendor coordination. - Conduct feasibility studies, value engineering, and design optimizations for efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering. - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in MEP design and coordination for Grade-A commercial and residential buildings. - Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and knowledge of MEP modeling workflows. - Strong understanding of HVAC design, electrical power systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
