Position Title: MEP Manager

Location: Royapettah, Chennai

Face to Face interview is mandatory

Willing to travel to Project locations across South India based on the project requirement.

Role & responsibilities

• The MEP lead will assist Head Projects in the overall MEP design, execution, and preparation of estimates, BOQs, vendor evaluation, bill certification and closure.
• Responsible for the preparation of SLDs, Light Looping layout, Power & floor raceway , FAS, FPS, CCTV, PA system, Intruder alarm, Cable tray layout & power panel arrangement, Equipment layouts & HVAC layouts
• To prepare & standardise BOQs with quantities and rates based on rate analysis workings.
• Preparation of Electrical & heat load sheets based on design requirement.
• Equipment specification, selection, vendor drawings review, purchase, factory test, start-up and commissioning support.
• Assist Head projects in creation of SOPs for the complete cycle of design to execution.
• Implementing detailed engineering MEP activities, finalization of requirements and specifications. Preparing technical specifications, scope and deliverables, estimates and based on requirements generated during detailed engineering of the project
• Onsite monitoring and execution of projects
• Vendor follow ups for projects

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical candidates preferably from retail background with minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in MEP Design & execution are preferred.
