Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the execution of MEP works at the site.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and HVAC systems.
Ensure all MEP activities are aligned with architectural and structural works.
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Identify technical problems and provide effective engineering solutions on-site.
Verify and certify contractor bills as per actual MEP work completed.
Coordinate with project architects, civil engineers, and contractors for smooth project execution.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management review.
Ensure adherence to Gujarat Housing Boards policies, safety guidelines, and environmental norms.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical from a recognized institute.
Experience:

58 years of experience in MEP works in residential, commercial, or government housing projects.
Experience with government housing boards or public sector projects preferred.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical layouts, water supply, and drainage systems.
Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.

Soft Skills:

Strong coordination and communication abilities.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
