MEP Electrical Engineer

As an MEP Electrical Engineer at our company based in Calicut, Kerala, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing electrical systems for various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects. Your primary responsibilities will include designing electrical systems, creating detailed drawings and specifications, conducting load calculations, and selecting suitable equipment and components. Additionally, you will be involved in project management activities, overseeing electrical aspects from inception to finalization, and collaborating with mechanical and plumbing engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. In this role, you will be expected to communicate and collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing technical expertise, participating in project meetings, and reporting on project progress and any potential issues. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards, as well as conducting quality control inspections and resolving any electrical issues that may arise during construction and post-construction phases. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a qualification in BE Mech, ME Mech, or MEP Engineering, with a strong background in electrical design and project management. You should have a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. A competitive salary ranging from 40k to 46k will be offered to the selected candidate for this full-time role, with a day shift schedule.
