The MEP Draftsman will be responsible for preparing coordinated MEP shop drawings and as-built layouts for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems integrated with aluminium structural ceilings, Unistrut frameworks, cleanroom systems, and raised floor voids. They will support the design, engineering, and site teams in achieving precision, technical compliance, and timely drawing release.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings integrating services within structural ceiling grids, Unistrut supports,

cleanroom partitions and raised access floor voids.

• Develop shop and as-built drawings for HVAC ducts, lighting, fire-fighting, and plumbing services.
• Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural drawings to eliminate clashes.
• Maintain drawing revisions, control logs, and transmittal records.
• Work closely with site engineers to verify service positions and support layouts.
• Adhere to company CAD/Revit standards and ensure all documentation follows project QC checklists.
• Support the preparation of BOQs and technical submittals when required.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Excellent coordination and detailing skills across trades.
• Familiarity with technical standards and codes (NBC, IS, ASHRAE, NFPA).
• Ability to interpret consultant and client design intent drawings.
• Attention to accuracy and version control in documentation.

Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Draftsmanship.

• Minimum 37 years experience in MEP drafting within construction, cleanroom, or fit-out sectors.

• Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and basic BIM coordination tools.

• Exposure to structural ceiling systems, Unistrut frameworks, and raised floor integration preferred.

Salary would be in line with the experience.
