Paresh Lamba Signatures is a luxury apparel & fashion brand based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We are renowned for our exquisite designs and high-end fashion offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs, including apparel and accessories that align with our brand aesthetics and current market trends. You will develop technical specifications, sketches, and prototypes for new products, ensuring that they meet fit and manufacturing requirements. Collaboration with the product development team is essential to guarantee the success of these designs. Your duties will also involve conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, materials, and technologies in menswear. By analyzing competitor products and consumer preferences, you will be able to make informed design decisions. It is crucial to stay updated on advancements in fabric technology, sustainable materials, and production techniques. Material selection plays a vital role in this position. You will need to choose appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories that enhance the performance, durability, and style of our products. Working closely with suppliers to source high-quality, innovative materials that meet design and functional requirements will be part of your daily tasks. Effective collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure alignment on design vision and product goals. Presenting design concepts and collections to internal stakeholders and incorporating feedback into final designs are essential for success. Maintaining clear and effective communication with manufacturing teams is crucial to ensure accurate production and quality control. Technical design skills are a must for this position. You will be responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and specifications for each design, ensuring that they meet the brand's fit, quality, and performance standards. Overseeing sample development, fittings, and revisions to ensure the final product meets the design intent will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have good knowledge of fabric material, design details, and fabric construction. Producing sketches, mock-ups, and digital renderings to bring design concepts to life is essential. An understanding of the application of fabrications and various trims will be beneficial. Collaborating with internal teams to design innovative and on-trend apparel and accessories that resonate with our target audience is a key aspect of this position. Minimum qualifications for this role include a degree in Fashion or a related field, a strong understanding of apparel, fit, and functional requirements in menswear, and at least 2 years of experience in the design field. You should have the ability to interpret fashion trends and translate them into commercial designs. Sound knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must, while experience in CLO 3D and V Stitcher will be considered an added advantage. Advanced visual and written communication skills, along with some to advanced knowledge of fabrics across categories, are also required for this position.,
