Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform engineering design and analysis of members for commercial, residential, and industrialstructures
Prepare and review member design calculations, reports, and supporting documentation as perproject requirements
Execute design for various structural elements such as beams, columns, bracings, stair framing,railings, canopies, and trellises using appropriate load cases and combinations
Ensure all designs comply with relevant AISC, ASCE, and applicable codes and standards
Coordinate with the in-house detailing team to ensure design intent, accuracy, and optimizationof member weights
Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for project improvements
Maintain quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all design work
Support continuous improvement by implementing best practices in design methods anddocumentation

Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in engineering design of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings
Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel
Sound knowledge of AISC and ASCE design standards
Ability to perform member-level design calculations and develop safe, economical solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
