As a Medical Writing Manager in Bengaluru, Karnataka working the 2 pm-11 pm shift, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team to ensure their professional growth and enhance the quality of output. Your responsibilities will include developing a refined understanding of the brand, disease, and overall therapeutic/treatment category. You will need to ensure all content is created with the appropriate tone, style, and structure based on brand strategy, creative brief, and client expectations. It is essential to demonstrate a sound understanding of healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising communication requirements and the ability to translate technical documents into compelling messages for different audiences. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support - Develop a refined understanding of the brand, disease, and therapeutic category - Ensure content is created with appropriate tone, style, and structure - Translate medical/technical documents into compelling content - Familiarity with modular content and omnichannel marketing - Manage multiple projects, allocate resources effectively, and maintain communication - Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide development opportunities Qualifications: - 11+ years of experience in healthcare communications agencies - Bachelor's degree with a focus on pharma/science/medicine - Portfolio showcasing medical writing for various communication forms and audiences - Knowledge of AMA Style Guide (certification not mandatory) - Experience with referencing, annotating, and client MLR submissions requirements - Ability to understand and process healthcare information In this role, your experience in healthcare communications agencies, knowledge of AMA Style Guide, and ability to understand and process healthcare information will be crucial.
