A Pharmacy Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy, focusing on providing excellent customer service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining smooth front-end operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will be responsible for greeting customers warmly and assisting them with purchasing over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and health products. Efficiently processing sales transactions using billing software or POS system will be an essential part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and informing pharmacists about low stock levels. As a Pharmacy Sales Assistant, you will assist in receiving and unpacking medical supplies, verifying invoices, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy counters and display racks. You will provide product information to customers under pharmacist guidance and redirect prescription-related queries to the pharmacist. Ensuring correct pricing and labeling of items, complying with health and safety procedures, and supporting audits or inspections will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a minimum of a 12th pass certificate or a Diploma in Pharmacy, with prior experience in retail sales or a pharmacy environment being preferred. Basic knowledge of computer systems and billing software, coupled with excellent communication and customer service skills, will be beneficial. Attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a proactive approach to handling customer complaints or queries are essential traits for success in this position. This is a full-time job that requires your presence in person at the work location.,
